About

Chattanooga Roots

Rhett Halden was raised on gospel harmonies and Sunday morning testimony in Chattanooga, Tennessee — the kind of upbringing that shapes a voice before it ever finds a microphone.

Now 41, sober, and still rooted in the faith he grew up on, Rhett writes songs that don’t stay in one lane. Country storytelling, hip-hop cadence, soul phrasing, and the weight of Southern gospel all show up in the same verse, because that’s how he hears music.

His debut single, “No Proof Needed,” is about sobriety, grace, and letting go of the need to spend your life proving your worth. It starts like a confession and ends like a testimony.
